I grew up in small-town Iowa and somehow found my way into a life built around cameras, movement, beautiful people and places worth remembering.

I photograph people in love, brands with something to say, and the quietly imperfect parts in between. Years behind the camera have taught me when to step in, when to step back, and when to let a moment become whatever it was always going to be.

My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial; thoughtful but never too polished, nostalgic without feeling staged, and always a little imperfect in the best way.

Digital, film, Super 8 and whatever the story calls for.
